The beauty and drama of dichroic glass, with its bicolor reflective tones, are celebrated in this very tall and commanding kaleidoscope. The metal base and sides are powder coated in a rich black, as is the large kaleidoscope perched atop a moveable swivel. A rainbow of dichroic glass mosaic decorates both the base and the scope body. The three liquid filled cells are sparkling with brilliant changing colors, warm and cool against black and transparent against clear. Crystals. wire sculpture, and glass beads further enhance the image. First surface mirror. Two-mirror, 7-point mirror system. A small matching basket hold the extra cells. Eye piece fitted with a 3-diopter glass lens. Shipping in continental US included; others contact artist. Approx. 17" high with a 5 " base.
